  • Comments: We offer for sale our owner's personal motorhome. From Parker: “Manageable. Reasonable. Efficient. Practical. Surprisingly spacious." These are the thoughts that I have when I think about the Mercedes powered Winnebago Via. It’s a Class A coach, not a Class C like others of the same size. What this means is that the interior is a whole lot more spacious and there are needed, usable storage bins you wouldn’t have in a Class C and frankly, it’s got a whole lot more curb appeal. As a little background, back in my racing days my family traveled from race-to-race, appearance-to-appearance, aboard a luxurious and very large Prevost. We traveled over 300 days a year, and we had our small children with us, so it was our home on wheels. At the track it worked just fine parked among the other driver’s coaches, the race rigs and hospitality units, but when we left the track and tried to find a campground to stay at, we were often unable to do because the Prevost was just way too big. Years passed, the Prevost long gone, and it was time again to hit the road. Our two girls had left home, with only our son remaining, and I wanted to make the kind of memories that only traveling and exploring can make. We wanted all the conveniences we enjoyed in the past, but we also wanted access to the National Parks and the ability to drive into town without causing a traffic jam. After much research we found the Winnebago Via and it filled every one of our requirements. Self powered by either onboard generator, propane, coach batteries, or the option of a 30-amp shore power cord, tons of storage, room to move around inside without tripping over each other (see slideout), and good fuel economy – all these things mattered. It gets twice the fuel mileage of the big coaches and yet pulls every long grade at the speed limit, unlike the big lumbering motorhomes. With this coach, besides having every option offered on the build sheet, we also added a clear mask to protect the paint at the front, a trailer brake controller, and additional exhaust fans to keep the refrigerator working as it should even on 115 degree Death Valley days. Heated, air conditioned, nice shower... all the amenities are here, and you can drive straight into Bryce, Zion, or other national parks without being told to park in town and be bused in like all the other motorhomes and travel trailer owners. We’ve had all the recommended maintenance performed at our local Sprinter certified Mercedes dealer. It runs and drives perfectly. The Onan generator has a mere 24 hours on the meter. This is like a new coach (always stored inside) with only 12,600 miles, and everything works as it should. We’re sorry to sell it but all our kids have now left home and our exploring needs have once again changed. To make memories that will last a lifetime in comfort and style, with the advantage of finding the camping spots others simply can’t, this is the coach for you. Viewing by appointment only. 5 Day Moneyback Guarantee does not apply.
